The Daviess County Visitors Bureau has announced the appointment of Debbie Goodwin as its new Executive Director, officially stepping into the role on January 19, 2025. Goodwin succeeds former director Amber Warden, who stepped down as her family relocated out of state. [visitdavie...county.com]

Goodwin brings 25 years of residency in Daviess County and an extensive record of community involvement and public service. She has served on the Daviess County Tourism Commission Board for eight years, including two years as treasurer, and previously worked 11 years in the Daviess County Auditor’s Office as Property Manager. Goodwin’s leadership style is described as highly community‑focused, relationship‑driven, and creatively energized. Her background in civic leadership includes serving as President of the Daviess County Republican Women, Secretary of the Daviess County Republican Party, and participation as a delegate at the 2024 Indiana GOP Convention.
